1) Reception Room - The spacious reception
area, aside from exchanging animal and veterinary information, contains a client education area,
complimentary refreshments, retain items, and a children's entertainment area

2) Continuing Education Room - Equine Associates
considers client education a priority. Our lecture room will hold up to 50 people. Guest and
veterinary speakers routinely lecture here
|

3) Diagnostic Imaging Room - A portable xray unit
for lower limbs and a larger 600 MA ceiling mount for larger body parts are both utilized to image
the horse to aid in making and supporting a clinical diagnosis

|

|
4) Pharmacy and Laboratory - The main pharmacy
contains a wide range of inventory necessary to adequately treat and diagnose each case. In-house
blood counts and chemistry profiles are performed here as well
|
|

5) Hospital Treatment Room - A fully equipped examination room with two stocks are available for
performing minor procedures and standing surgeries
|
|

|
6) Hospital Stalls - The main hospital has eight stalls with rubber flooring and automatic water
systems. A neonatal intensive care stall and secondary hospital pharmacy is located in this
area

7) Surgery Room - Elective soft tissue and some orthopedic surgeries are performed here with the
assistance of support staff and an anesthesiologist
|
|

8) Podiatry Center - The treatment of foot-related problems is carried to a new dimension here
where the latest treatments and shoeing methods are utilized with every attempt to return the
animal to it's intended use

9) Stallion Stalls - Breeding stallions are housed in these eight 12 X 16 stalls with rubberized
flooring and automatic watering systems
|
|

10) Collection Room - Stallions are trained to the phantom and experienced stallions are collected
for fertility analysis, shipping, or freezing in this private indoor room
|
|

|
11) Breeding and Embryo Transfer Room - With immediate access to a fully equipped reproduction
laboratory, mares are examined, ultrasounded, bred, or an embryo retrieved in this room. Other
advanced reproductive techniques are also utilized here to enhance the mare's reproductive
capacity

12) Laboratory and Embryo / Semen Storage - this laboratory is equipped for semen or embryo
processing or storage. Other procedures such ova culturing is handled here. The stallion collection
equipment and shipping containers are kept in this room as are frozen semen inventory and frozen
embryos
